Environmental, social and governance practices at Gayatri Rubbers & Chemicals Ltd.

Environmental

  • We ensure compliance with all applicable environmental standards, health and safety regulations and other requirements in our operations.
  • Our EN 45545-2 HL3 fire retardant rubber is compounded with halogen-free flame retardants and smoke suppressants, engineered for low smoke density and low toxicity.
  • Fire, smoke and toxicity testing is done in our NABL-accredited laboratory.

Social

  • 60% of our workforce are women.
  • We have a well-qualified and experienced employee base, managed by middle and senior management.
  • A Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Policy is in force, effective 8 July 2022.
  • Certified to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 quality systems.

Governance

  • The Board has six directors, of whom three are Independent Directors. See Board & Committees.
  • Audit, Nomination & Remuneration and Stakeholders Relationship Committees are in place.
